The Ghan train is one of the world’s iconic train journeys and a very comfortable experience to see the vast Australian landscape.

The Ghan travels over 3,000kms between Adelaide, Alice Springs and Darwin – right through the heart of the outback, running north/south across the entire Australia continent. On this classic journey, you realise just how isolated and beautiful the Northern Territory is. Named after the Afghan cameleers who once travelled this route; today you can retrace their journey in comfort. The Ghan is a fantastic way to travel to/from Darwin-Alice Springs-Adelaide.
