Tour Inclusions

Although tour operators all visit the same attractions and offer similar experiences, the operators travel in different size vehicles and may vary with their inclusions…

Vehicles – Some operators travel in small mini buses providing more personal service, some in mid size coaches and some in larger coaches. All vehicles are air-conditioned.

Lunch - One operator doesn’t include lunch, saving you some cash and giving flexibility to take or buy your own lunch. All other operators provide lunch which can vary from picnic sandwiches, gourmet picnic lunches, sit down lunches in a café or buffet cold meat/salad lunches. Don’t stress if you have dietary requirements, all tour operators can provide alternatives for you.

Hotel pick up – every tour operator will happily pick you up from Darwin city hotels and backpackers; some pick up from hotels and private residences in the suburbs. The Tiwi Islands tour operators are the exception; you need to make your own way to the airport or ferry terminal.

Tour Guides/Drivers – all tour guides/drivers are professionally trained and provide informative and entertaining commentary throughout the day. With such extraordinary landscapes, diverse ecology and rich Indigenous culture, tour guides knowledge and information is an essential part of any experience in the Top End.
